(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Paeroa, March 17. The seventeenth annual meeting of the Ohinemuri Jockey Club was held at Paeroa to-day, before a record attendance. Results: — SHORTS HANDICAP, of 30 sovs. Four furlongs.—Fremantlo, 1; Mighty Atom, 2; Lad/ French, 3. HURDLES, of 40 sovs. Two miles.— Taiaha, 1; Banjo, 2. Tho only other starter was Don Quex, who lost his rider at tho first hurdle. Won by nearly a quarter of a milo. NETHERTON WELTER, of 30 sovs. Seven furlongs.—Scotch, 1; Taka, 2; Toa Tuhi, 3. KARANGAHAKE HANDICAP.' Five furlongs.—Toa Tuhi, 1; Joli Fille, 2; Stamps, 3. MAIDEN HURDLES. Ono milo and a half. —Sabine, 1; Miss Explosion, 2. Out of seven starters, five camo to grief. Reid, rider of Dudeen, was seriously iniured. ST. PATRICK'S HANDICAP. Six furlongs.—Master Jack, 1; Jena, 2; Frontino, 3.
