Anniversary services in connection • with the Presbyterian Church were conducted here by the Rev. .Mr. Patter- i son, of Wellington, and were largely at- '. tended. The accommodation proved .insufficient, arid many stood at tho door ■ to hear the addresses. The offerings, naturally, were largo. ." ■\- ■ ' (• Mr, G. D. M-'Kibbin, president of the local Chamber l of Commerce, has resigned that position, as ho will shortlybe leaving the district. Tho Foresters' Court purpose holding assemblies similar to those held last year, and are commencing this week. Mr. R. Bly has been elected secretary to the management committee who will conduct the meetings.
