In the course of some trials of heavy motor-vans at Chantilly somo time ago, some yearlings led by an English groom named Rvidd, took fright at one of those vehicles, with the result that Kudd was killed bv a horse falling on him. The Courts have now awarded his widow ,£IGO damages and an annuity of £$ to each of his fire children till the age of eighteen,
