ENCOUNTER WITH A LION.
HUNTER SEVERELY MAULED. By Telegraph— l'ress Aesociation-Copyrlßht ' London, February 1. The "African World" , states that a Nairobi lion severely mauled/Mr,' Grey, ex-manager of the Tanganyika concessions,. and- brother of Sir Edward Grey, Foreign Secretary, while hunting at Athiriver. Mr. Grey was worried ratlike by the lion, and was rescued with' difficulty. He is now progressing favourably.
