Tho depression in Waihi shares has anparntly affected Talismans ■ to some extent, for tho latter wero on offer at the afternoon ca!! at 455. ■■Earlier in the- day they were sold at 465. It is believed that tho prico receded on London selling, for, reports havo .bean received from the mine, nor havo there,.been rumours. Waihis wcro sold down to 7fs;.' and the entire market is woak.
