WELLINGTON RIFLE BATTALION.

ORDERS FOR ENCAMPMENT. Lieutenant-Colonel W. G. Duthie, Officer Commanding the First Wellington Rifle Battalion, has .'issued tho following orders with referonco. to the Battalion Instructional Camp which is to commence atiKarori to-morrow :— "The battalion will parade at the Garrison Hall on Saturday, January 14, at 2 p.m.y Dress: Drill order with leggings; water-bottles (filled),'and haversacks containing one cooked ration will be carried. ~-..-.:■ ■

"Tho Maxim guns will be taken by 'C Company. Blankets, (must be made up into 'a , secure package and plainly labelled with the namo of the owner and his company. "Baggage will bo left at the Garrison Hall by 1.45 p.m.-on January 14. "O.C. .companies will detail two men each 'to receivo and guard baggage,' and ;will be responsible'that'it is .ready to bo loaded without delay. , . . \ "In consequence of. the.small number of N.C.O.'s. and men able to attend camp all' day, the battalion will lie trained in tho. morning and in- '■ the evening only, except as stated in Paragraph 8. N.C.O.'s and men will not therefore attend camp all day. Officers will be allowed to attend camp all day, and will receivo,special instruction. "All ranks will s.tay continuously at tho camp from the. afternoon of Satur-, (lay, January 21,. to tho evening of Monday, January 23. For those days personal payment will bo made." Chaplain-Major the Rev.-W. Shirer will conduct divine service in camp on Sunday morning. The service will commence at 9 a.m.
