Every seat was occupied at last evening's performance, and the piece was received with every manifestation of enthusiastic approval. A programmo of pictures specially selected,for tho occasion will bo presented at the Town Hall next Monday evening by Messrs! J. Fuller and Sons. Under tho auspices of the Heretaunga Boating Club a gala day has been arranged to takc'placo oil January 2 on tho Petono water front. A very good programme, comprising events for yachtsmen, motor-launches, other aquatics, and band sports is being offered. A feature ot tho day's sport will be a magnificent submarino explosion.
