A COMPLIMENT FOR RAILWAY EMPLOYEES.
Sir,—Will you please allow me "space in the columns of your intinential journal for a few remarks on tlio manner in which the railway men engaged coped with the very heavy traffic on Monday. I have particularly-noticed how free from accidents of any sort the day's outing ■was, and which.is to be attributed solely to the vigilance and care eiercised by the men engaged, especially when we read of the calamities that befall excursionists in other places through downright carelessness. Our men" deserve more -than a passing notice. I think, sir, you will agree with mo'that they ..are. entitled to tho thank's of the public, and nt-e- certainly a credit to the Now Zealand Railways. '.Thartking you in anticipation,—l am, etc., , , "LIMEKICK." Wellington, December 27, 1910.
