NOT WANTED.

Sir,—Like many others I have been in-, .terested -and " amused' at the frcqutirt • paragraphs /referring :to Mr. . . Robt. 'M'Nab and Mr. Thos. Mackenzie. It would seem that both gentlemen are'ex.ceedingly anxious to give the impression that they have only to throw the political handkerchief and North Island electors will run after theni, and the latter may be correct with regard to a fewnoisy Government supporters, but it is not correct with regard to the great majority of .the voters. My lip is that North Island electors want neither Sontn. Island political rejects nor South Island political turncoats, and next polling day .will ,show that I am right in my prediction.—l am, etc., • ANOTHER MAC.
