I am glad to see from tlie newspapers . this morning; that the attendance at the show • oh People's Day was a record'one in the annals of its hfttory. This testifiies in tho most satisfactory , manner to the high position your association has attained. Id; credit. balance, .£B4l Os. 10d: total, .£29 SO 12s. 10d. Receipts:' Entry, fees, .£957 -lis.. -Si.; booths'and catalogues, .£125 2s. Cd.; takings at gates, .£1715 Bs. Id.; . private prizes, £177'Ss.; sundry' receipts, M; total, £2380 12s. 10d. . . 1 In'moving the adoption of the balancesheet. Mr. E. G. Stavcley (chairman of the Finance Committee) stated that the financial results of the show were very satisfactory, the balance to credit being £Sll; as compared with .£620 tue previous year. The prize-money-paid by the association this year totalled .£l2lO, as compared with XI2IB last year, and the private prizes this year , totalled .£177, ascompared with .£194 the previous year. The balance-sheet' was adopted."
