ENRAGED MAN FIRES AT RANDOM. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. Now York, November 24. William Griffith, a saloon-keeper at Newcastle, Colorado, being enraged because ho had been convicted for an assault, shot with a revolver two men in the streets. Ho then fired at random into a crowd that had collected, wounding several, and afterwards took refuge in tho.room of a shop. He barricaded tho room, and kept the sheriff's posse at bay for some time.
