November 15, 11.45 p.ni.) St. Petersburg, November 15. Tolstoy, on leaving the-convent, was taken ill in tiie train. Ho_alighted at Astapovo Station, in the Government of Rjasan, with his daughter Alexandra and a doctor, and is now lying ill at tho station. His temperature is 104 degrees. The "Doukhobors" are a community of Nonconformist peasants, who recently decided to give up this name,, and now call thorn-selves "Christians of tho Universal Brotherhood."
