HUTT AND PETONE NEWS.

Yesterday afternoon the Wellington Garrison and Petouo Municipal Bauds gave a performance on the Petone' Eecreation Ground. There were about 500 people prosent. The proceeds will be donated to Mother Aubert's Home. The newly-formed Tennis Club in connection with the Petone Methodist Church opened its season on the courts in Nelson Street on Saturday afternoon. There was an attendance of about 50, and some most enjoyablo games were indulged in. Afternoon tea was provided by the ladies.
