ITS SOCIAL SIDE.:' ' , Builders and contractors attending the annual Federation Conference, with a number of their lady friends, spent.yeswrday pleasantly in a drive • to Wainui-o-niata. The party, nnmbering over GO, maile the journey in drags, three •of which drove out from the. city and two Hu £- The s erfect wither added to the natural beauty of the scenery m the neighbourhood of the reservoirs, made the day a thoroughly enjoyable one. After a luncheon served in the °P en > under the trees, the party viewed tie old and new reservoirs. The Solomons Knob dam was greatly admired, and before the party started on their return journey, Mr. S. J.. Clark, on behalf of visitors congratulated,the contractors, Messrs.
