Tho Counties Act Amendment, notice to introduce which was given yesterday, proposes to bring the Counties Act into operation wherever it is now suspended. It will make provision for the formation of a now county in llolorua, and tho roestablishmont of county councils in Eden and Manukiui. This will bo done without interfering with existing local bodies in those counties.
