■ -» BOYS' DIVISION. •• On Wednesday evening there was the usual weekly meeting of the intermediate members. of the Boys' Department. The occasion .was the first visit of Mr. E. M. Ryan, who has arrived from America to take up the boys' work directorship. Mr. W. - Badden occupied tho chair, and- introduced Mr. Ryan, who gave an address about America and his travels. After the meeting supper was served under the supervision of Mr. Bruce Mabin. On Thursday evening a gymnastic display was given by Mr. Hovey's pupils before an appreciative audience. An adjournment was . made to the rooms of the Boys' Department to a social cup of tea, sandwiches, and cake. Mr. Ryan had a quiet talk with the. "mothers" and friends of the members. Music was rendered by Mr. Nimmo. Mr! H. N. Holmes presided, and introduced Mr. and Mrs. Ryan. '■ On Friday night the members of the Junior Department assembled to meet Mr. Ryan. Mr. T. Plant, who has quite recently returned from a visit to tho Home Country, was present. Mr. Ryan gave a talk to the juniors.
