Messrs. . Abraham and- Williams, Ltd., report on their Johnsonville sale, held yesterday, as follows:—A good yardinE of sheep and cattle came forward, and sold readily. Tho bullocks were an extra prime lot, and mot,'with good demand. Prime heavy' bullocks, £11 55., £11 155., and £10 to £10 12s. 6d.; prime medium bullocks, £9 7s. 6d. .to £9 155.; good wethers, 235. 7d.; prime ewes, 225. 6d. to 225. 10d.; medium e-»os, £1 to £I.os. 3d.; plain ewes, 165.; shorn wethers. 16s. 3d.; prime lambs, 13s. to 145.; good lambs, 12s. to 12s. 3d.; small, 10s. lOd. to lis. 7d.

Christchurch, October 26. At Addington yardß there were fair entries of stock, and a good attendance. For fat. cattle-the sale was irregular, at about last week's rates; store shoop' were in good demand despite the continued dry weather; fat lambs, with the excentiou of prime, were rather easier; fat sheen maintained previous we2k's prices; store cattle were dull of sale; dairy cows again sold well.
Store sheep: A small yarding, principally of owes, lambs, and wethers. All classes sold very Veil, shtrn as well as in wool, wethers finding buyers, a3 did also lambs and ewes: The few pens of hoggets offered also found purchasers; Ewes and lambs made 6s. lOd. to lis., all counted; woolly' wethers,. 15s. 3d., t0,.175.; shorn wethers, Us..-3d. to 13s. Bd.; woolly ,'hoggota, 14s. 3d.; Bhorn hoggets, 9s. 6d. • The entry of. lambs totalled 429. Good lambs sold well, but lighter sorts were rather easier. Prime mado 13s. 6d. to 165.; lighter, 9s. 9d. ,to 13s. ~ , There was a-moderate yarding of fat sheep, _hearly half-shorn, lots. ■; The sale opened'at about last week's rates, and remained firm throughout. The range of prices was:—Prime woolly wethers, 20s. to 235. 7d.; lighter, 18s. to 19s. 6d.: shorn wethers, 125.-lOd. to 16s. 9d.; woolly ewes, 155.-6 d. to 225. 6d.; shorn ewes, 12s. 6d.- to 17s. 7d.; hoggets, 14s. 9d. to 175.; merino wethers, 15b. 3d.
Fat cattlo;—A yarding of 246 included a fair proportion of prime, handy weights, with two North Islasd consignments. Bidding was rather slack at tho opening of tho sale. Two races were passed, but the market improved later, and the previous week's prices were maintained. Steers. £7 2s. 6d. to £12 155.; heifers, £6 ss. to £8 10s.; cows, £5 17b. 6d. to £11 155.,' equal to 28s. to 31s. for prime steers; medium, 255. to 275. 6d., and cow , and inferior to Z4s. 6d. per 1001b, A large entry of veal calves sold at 4s. 6d. to 505., . according to size and quality. Store cattle: There was a very smallyarding, principally of dry* cows, consequent on tho continued dxy weather. Prices slightly, dropped compared ' with last week's. Yearlings, 16s. ,to 315.; 15 to 18-months cattle, £2 7s. 6d.'to £2 125.; twoyear steers, £3 155.; 2J-ycar steers, £4 17s. 6d.; 3-ycar heifers, £4; dry cows, 30s. to
Dairy cows: A good yarding, quality medium. Last week's demand was unabated, despite the shortage of grass. Prices, £3 10s. to £8 10s., according to quality.
Pigs: There was a large quantity, of fat and store. Fats so}d well.. Stores were in less brisk demand. Choppers, up to 605.; large baconers, 48s.'t to 555.: Center, £3 7s. 6d. to 455. (eqna-1 to 41d. ?c 0r i b,) in large Pikers, 295. to 35a.; lighter, 255. to 28s. (equal to 4W. per lb.); medium stores, 14s. to 18s.; smaller, Bs. to 13s. Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report.—At Otalti ,on Wednesdav, we had a small yarding of both sheep a,nd cattle, which sold at the following ■ prices :-Ewes and lambs, 205.; store .ewes, Bs. to 10s.: wether hoggets, 135.; fat bullocks, £6 155.: fat cows, £4 18s. to £5; forward cows, £3 15s. to £4 ss. i store cows. £2 ss. to £2 12s. 6d.; yearling heifers, £3 to £3 7s. 6d.; mixed yearlings (small), 31s.

Pat sheep: 2000 penned, almost all forward being of extra good Quality. Prices were much the" same as last week, av though showing a rise of about Is. per head in some instances; Best wethere.' 255, to 27s.;'extra heavy, 295. to 31s. 9d • good, 225. to Z4a.- 6d.; medium,' 19s. fid. to 215.; best ewes, 225. to 235. Gd.; extra to 255. 3d.; good, l&s. to 205.; light,'l6s. 6d. to 17s. 6d. The first shorn wothors of the season were forward, and realised 17s. jo to 20s. 3d..
Pat lambs: 110 nonncd. Th c duality was rory inferior, and prices showed a drop of Is. 6d, to 2b. per head. Best, 1.65. to 195.; good, 14e, to Iss. 6d.;_tUsh.t, iol3s.
Pigs: About 130 penned, mostly suckers and slips. Porkers and bacouers wore in good demand, but young pig 3 very hard to quit.
