Fine weather has prevailed northward of New Plymouth and Oastlepoint. but cloudy, and unsettled conditions are reported 2lsewhere, with ■'rain on the Wett Coast and southernmost districts. . The barometer has fallen slowly everywhere, and moderate to strong westerly winds havo prevailed. Present indications aro for fair but hazy weather northward of New Plymouth and Oastlepoint, and cloudy weather with rain probable elsewhere.
