Messrs. Dalgoty and Company, Limited report having hold their fortnightly sale at Upper Hutt yards yesterday. A small yarding of sheep, and a fair yarding of cattle came forward, .and a total clearance of tho cattlo resulted, the following prices being realised under the-hammer:— Ewea with lambs, 16s. 4d.; cows, close to profit. £6 7s. 6d. to £9 Is.; springing cows, £4 175.. to £6 55.; cows, with calves at foot, £4 to £4 lis.; store cows, £3 55.; springing heifers, £3 9s. to £6 165.; threeyear heifers, to £3 165.; three-year steers, £4 12s. 6d.; yearling steers and heifers, £2 2s. 6d. to £2 10s.; young bulls, £2 7s. 6d. Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report :-At our Palmerston North sale on Thursday we had a fair entry of sheep and a good entry of. cattle. Sheep: Wether hot-gets, to 15s, Id.; ewe hoggets, to 16s. lid.; fat ewes, 17s. lid. to 195.; ewes, with lambs, £1.
