NINE MEN DROWNED. By Tele&raph-Pross Asßooiatlan-Copyrisrht, (Rob. October 21, 9.45. p.m.) ■ Borllp, October 21. A remarkable series of misfortunes befell the South American steamer Persimmon. First of all three sailors wore washod from the mast in a galo, and drowned. Later, when rounding Cape Horn, another man was washed ovorboard, and finally a boat with eight hands' aboard, which had fruitlessly attempted the rescue of the first man,/was capsized, and five of the rescuers were drowned.
