FRIAR'S REVOLVER PRACTICE.
. FIRES IN ST. PETER'S. By Telegraph-Press Association—Copyright Rome, August 29. A panic occurred during vespers at the Basilica of St. Peter. A man named Beltramini, an ex-Fran-ciscan friar, fired three shots in the air, and the people fled. The service had to bo suspended. Beltramini was arrested, and explained that he desired to attract attention and procure his reinstatement as a friar.
