■ '-■' . THE NEWTOWN CLUB. . The twelfth annual meeting of the Newtown Lawn Tennis Club was held iu the club pavilion last evening, when there was a largo muster of members. Mr. E Y. Redward occunied the chair. Tho officers for tho ensuing year are as 'follow : -Prosident, Mr. W. H. P. Barber (re-elected); vice-presidents, Messrs. J. P. Luke, M.P., P. Gi-atly, sen., P. H. Muter, J. H. Pollock, T. H. Gill E. Y. Redward, M. Fraser (all reelected), Hon. C. M. Luke; hon. secretary, Mr. G. S. Pratt (re-olented); hon. treasurer, Mr. L. S. Emery; hori. auditor, Mr. R. H. Nagle; management committee, Messrs. J. Lindsay, E. Y. Rcdwnrd, F. Curtis (all re-elected), J. H. Clark, H. L. Godbcr; match committee, Messrs. E. y. Redward, J. Lindsay and L. S. Emeny; delegates to W.P.L.T.A., Messrs. Lindsay and Godber; Indies'. refreshment committee, Misses L. Clark, Bock, Redward, Powell, and B. F. Webb. Slessrs. Galwcy, J- Murray, and F. Curtis were accorded votes of thanks for valuable services rendered to the club in I the past, ' .
