A NARROW ESCAPE.
THE FIRE AT PORT ADELAIDE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Oonyrlirht. Adelaide, August 23. The fire on the steamer South Africa at Port Adelaide on Sunday destroyed the storeroom and the saloon. Only a wooden partition separated the magazine, in which' was a large quantity of dynamite,- from the storeroom. ' Eleven members of tho crow left the vessel's service.
