OPPOSITION NOMINEE.
FOR THE TAUMARUNUI SEAT. (By Telegraph—Special Correspondents ' Auckland, August 22. A representative meeting of Opposition supporters was neld in Te Kuiti on Friday evening for the purpose of selecting a candidate to contest the Taumarunui seat at the election next year. The feeling was . unanimously , in favour of Mr. James Boddie, Mayor of Te Kuiti, who expressed his willingness to accept nomination. Committees' will shortly be formed to assist Mr. Boddie's candidature.
