MORRIS-TUBE SHOOTING.
Two very creditable performances wore put up during the match, Coulls, -Culling v. Turnbull, Hicksoii, and Gooder, last Wednesday. Using the ordinary sliding bar and o-Bth inch bull, G. Bjernigvist, of the former team, after registering a bull for sighter, continued, and put on seven more bull'seyes. 1. Gibbs, whoso sightev was a four, also put on tho.possible, 35. Turnbull, Hicksou, and Goodcr ltiflo Club concluded their first series of handicap trophy matches (three) last Wednesday. A. Lowo (hdp. 2) 102, and C. Godber (hdp. 3) 102, tied for firs* Place, being closely followed by G. Hill (hdp. 5) 100, G. Winchcombo (hdp. 4) 100, S. Smith (hdp. 4) 99, N. Francis (hdp. 2) 99, W. Huxtable (hdp. s)' 99, and P. Eeston (hdp. 3) 98, the best target of the series being that of G. Hill, 34. This club has engaged two Morns tube targets at Sandy's Zealandia Range for Wednesday evenings, and would be glad to arrange matches with other-teams.
A Morns-tube rifle match has' been arranged for Thursday nest (August 18), between teams representing "The Post" and The Dominion. This will be The Dominion team's maiden trial shoot. .
