Patrick's College Ola Boys' Association in Gbdber's Rooms last Tuesday evening was well attended, those present including the president (the Rev. Dr. Kennedy), the Rev. Father Goggan, ; and several members of the College' Faculty. The evening's" chtortiinment commenced, with progressive, euchre, and after an interesting competition-the. prizes were won by. the undermentioned:—Miss Grace O'Sullivun, 1; Miss Wardell, 2; and Mr.. Gasquoino 1, and Mr. M'Howard2. The. second part of took the shape of a concert by; Mr. Dave Ken jy (a-member of the committee of the association) and several friends. The items given were songs bj, Messrs. Parkes, Dykes, Parsons, Fletcher, Carr. Kenny,' all encored; and recitations by Mr. A. Newton.,, Two selections.from operas were'also given'by the above collectively,' Mr. Paikcs taking the solo part on each occasion. The chairman of. the Old Boys' Association's Committee (Mr. W. 33.. Butler), on behalf of the president ol the association and the committee, expressed their thasks to Mr. Kenny and those, associated with him for the capital concert provided. Mr. Jas.. Dykes, in replying, expressed the pleasure which it gave,iiim and his friends on being tho association's guests that evenirigf at the request of Mr. Kenny. .
