Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report:— At our Daunevlr.te sale yesterday a heavy entry of both sheep and cattle was submitted to a iarge attendance .of buyers. There was good inquiry lor wethers and sound ewes, but hoggets and inferior ewes showed a slight decline in prices. In cattle, dairy stock were nut so kienly competed for as'' at recent sales, but store cattle maintained last sale values. Wo quote:—Fat ewes, Ms. 9d.; two-tooth wethers, 145.; mixed sex hoggets, Bs. to 10s. 3d.; ewes iu lamb, 10s. to 10s.. 3d.; culls, 4s. Bd. to 6s. Cd.;.fat bullocks, 1575. 6d.; fat cows, prime, 1455.; fat heifers, 935.; light fat steers, ICOs.; empty cows, 545. to 6m.; eighteen months to two-year steers, 70s. to 9iis.; springing heifers, 695.; mixed weaners, 40s. to 475. 6d.; two-year empty heifers, 6ps. .

She New Zealand Loan and Mercantitb Agency Company, Ltd. (Fcildiug branch), report, for the week ending July 29 as follows:—At Mr. E. 11. CrabD's clearing sale on Tuesday there was a large attendance of buyers, and a very successful salo resulted at the following prices:—B4s ewes in lamb, IBs.; 270 ewe 12s. 3d.; 181 ditto, 12s. 6d.; 54 small ditto, 95.; 30 ewes in lamb, 13b. lCd.; wether lambs (culls), ss. The implements and sundries made full values. At Feilding on Friday we had a heavy yarding of both sheep and cattle. The sale was inclined to drag, but every pen was eventually sold, prices being in favour of buyers.
