GREAT STORMS SWEEP NORTH ITALY.
FIFTY LIVES LOST. MANY KILLED BY FALLINC CHIMNEYS. Ily Telegraph-Prow Association-Copyrleht London, July 24. A devastating storm visited the city of Milan, in Northern Italy, and the surrounding districts. A brick factory at Solario, in tho comimmo of Coriano-Laghetto, collapsed. Fourteen persons woro killed and twenty injured. Several chimneys at Busto-Arsizio fell, ten persons being killed. There were fifteen victims of tho storm at Mosciano, and three at Saronilo. Fatalities also occurred in the Gallarate district. The prefect, troops, and firemen have proceeded to the chief centres of tho disaster. Details aro lacking, tho telegraph wires being down. Tho cyclone in the Saronno region killed fifty persons and injured hundreds. It also damaged the Humbert Memorial Chapel at Monza. Many factory chimneys fell. HURRICANE IN CERMANY. ENORMOUS DAMAGE DONE. Berlin, July 24. Enormous damage was done by a hurricane, accompanied by lightning and torrents of rain, in West and South Germany, especially at Nuremberg, Cologne, Essen, and Bonn. GERMAN HARVESTS SPOILT. (Rec.
