A BOOK-KEEPER IN TROUBLE.
HUGE DEFALCATIONS ALLEGED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Oopyrieht. Now York, July 24. August Ropko, assistant secretary and book-keeper' to the Fidelity Trust Company, Louisville, Kentucky, has been arrested for alleged defalcations amounting to £228,000. It is alleged that he speculated heavily. New York and Chicago stockholders intend to make up the defalcations.
