PADEREWSKI GIVES A STATUE. By Telegraph—Presr Association-OopyriEht. Vienna, July 18. Jan Paderowski, the eminent Polish pianist and composer, received a great ovation at Cjracow, where he unveiled a colossal statuo of King Jagello in commemoration of the sixth centenary of the hattle of Tannenberg, at which Jagello tit the head of the Lithuanian forces defeated the Teutonic Knights in 1410, and broko their power. The cost of the statue (£20,000) was faonie by Padorewski.
