PEDIGREE.BULL SOLD.
' Mr. E. Eagle, of Carterton,' has" sold to' Mr. J. 0. Batehelor, of Palmerston North, the imported Jersey pedigree bull K.C.8., by Convent King—Lady Belle.
. A sample of the milk of tho Dungog nine-months-old heifer which is producing milk without having calved, has been' analysed by the Government-dairy expert, and the most extraordinary result is given of 16 per cent. fat. Tho solids are -20.89 per cent., and the solids not fat 4.89 per cent." There aro cases on record of other calves being induced to secrete a flow of milk, but tho fat percentage in this case is declared to be a world's record for cow oilier,
