Governor's Speech referred to the prosperous condition of the State, and the need for the State control of tho water supply in order to provide against seasons of drought. ; Dills are promised for the codification of the land laws, for railway construction, including the linking up of trunk linos, and tho rectification of the ..inequality of Parliamentary representation. Other Rills will b-a brought in dealing with mining and agricultural development, and the Bible-reading referendum recently taken in connection with the State schools.
