SUBURBAN TRAIN SERVICE.

A plea for a better suburban train service for the four centres was mado by Mr. 1\ W. Lang in the House of Representatives yesterday. He said that tho population round Auckland, for instance, was increasing fast, but not at a quarter the rate it would if there was a good suburban service. The Minister had been approached timo and again, but he could not be persuaded that facilities for getting in and out of the city should precede settlement.
