At tho Shecpbreeders' Show, in connection with the forthcoming sales, NewZealand was well represented in some of the British breed sections. In tlie classes for Border Leicester rams, Mr. 0. Douthwaite (Waiinate) won. three firsts, a championship, and one second and third. Air. Nixon (Killinchy) scared a second and two thirds. In the j'.ics, Mr. Kixon secured two firsts and a championship, and two seconds. Mr. Douthwaite came second and third. For English Leicester ranis, Mr. Grant (Timaru) won three firsts and championship, and one second. Mr. Nixon was awarded third prize. For ewes under two years, Mr. Nixon was first. In the Romney Marsh classes, Mr. Grant (Timaru)' was second for rams under two years. In tho Merinos, most of the champion prizes went to tho Gibsons, the famous Tasmanian breeders.
