Tho alienists are continuing their examinations of Charlton, who is awaiting trial in connection with the Lake Como tragedy. The prisoner's attorneys declare that if ho is judicially insane extradition is impossible. They cite the case of-Robert Caldwell, tho witness in the Druce case, wanted for perjury, who is detained in a New York asylum, and for whose extradition the British Government has so far applied in. vain.
