AN AUSTRALIAN CAMPAIGN. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Kec. June 30, 0.50 a.m.) Sydney, June 29. An influential gathering in the Town Hall to-day resolved to form a National Association for tho Prevention and Curo of Consumption. It is proposed to open a fund to defray tho expenses of tho scheme, and an appeal will bo mado to tho State and Federal Governments for endowments. Tho association will also open communications with the Mayors of other Commonwealth, capitals with a view to getting them to tako similar steps.
