A STRANGE PROCESSION.
UNDERGRADUATE HUMOUR. Further particulars of the procession of college students, which is to take place to-day at noon, engenders the expectation that Wellington will witness a unique display. At 12 o'clock the trumpets will 60UL'i'.l, and fortli from the college gates will issue, such a collection of monstrosities, as the capital city has at least never seen before. "A very interesting biological specimen," in the shape of a gigantic centipede will be one oi the chief attractions, its cake-walking propensities, should be of special interest. At another stage will be realistic displays of dissections, and vivisections. Tho brass, wood, and iron band, of celebrated musicians, will discourse sweet (?) strains. Besides these, attractions, ladies will be curious to see the living fashion-plate adorned in ohaiitcclcr hat and the the latest fashions from Paris. A pair of skin-clad barbarians will career madly along in a primitive chariot, accompanied by a number of warlike Gauls, and followed, ac a respectful distance, by a motor full of politicians and others. The proces?ion will be flanked by mounted Indians. The boxing community is also being catered for.
