Ryan, accepting the position of boys' work director of _the Wellington Association. .Mr. Kyan first came in touch with association work m Wellington, and for the past two and a half vears has Been studying the boys work'in the Y.M.C.A. -Training..College, in Springfield, Mass. Mr. Ryan cables that he will leave immediately for WeiThere was a large attendance at the men's meeting-of the.Y.M.C.A. on Sunday afternoon, when tho general secre-tary-spoke lon • "A. Great' Curse m the Modern City.". Mr. C. H, Poole. M P., and Mrs.'Poole were present .at the strangers' tea, and Mr. Poole, spoke enthusiastically of the value of the Y.M.C.A.-work. - . ■
