Ten thousand Parisian trade unionists attended tho funeral of a cabinetmaker who was killed in a brawl between a number of strikers and tho police. During tho funeral the windows of tho ; polico station were broken. , Many of tho strikers carried revolvers, , and after a good deal of firing tho police ( found it necessary to charge the crowd ; with drawn sabres. ■ ■ | A policeman and numbers of others wero wounded. In the nieleo women and j children wero also trampled on. | Many arrests have been made.
