MISSIONS TO SEAMEN.

The weekly ambulance meeting was hold at the Missions to Seamen Institute on Friday evening, a large and interested audience being present. Mr. J. lloori:, Missioner, gave several demonstrations, showing, inter alia the methods of treating burns. He also gave several useful hints relating to health matters. Competitions in connection with first aid were held, and won by sailors from shins in port. A bright' musical programme was submitted by tlici Misses Fanner, the following 'contributing items:—Misses Farmer (2), and Messrs. Galloway and Farmer. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded the peiformcrs at the conclusion of the meeting.
