LODGE MEETING.
3 The weekly session of the King's Coronation Lodge of Good Templars was hold last Friday evening, when Bret. J. Allen, G.T., presided over a "oocl attendance. 3Jembers of the- Star of Newtown and Hope of kilbirmo Lexises were officially welcomed, and occupied the chairs, Bro. P. Atkinson presiding. Two new members were, initiated", and othors proposed. An invitation to the Newtown Lodge for next Wednesday was accepted. Bros. Steel and Charloswood were reported to lie progressing fnvpurably. After business "had been disposed of the lodge went into harmony, the following contributing items:—Sister Atkinson, Bros. Hague, Wilson, Price, Patterson, Howitt, and Lambert. Bro. lieid was presented with a sovereign-case as winner of a competition bold during the previous week. Bro. L. A. Browne, ami Sister Carroll (Blenheim) and Bro. Donn (Christeburch) were welcomed as visitors, and in reply conveyed greetings, which were reciprocated. Next mooting is an open one, in charge of Sisters Kodda and Hansen.
