SECOND DAY. (By -TeleEraDb—Press Association.! Ashburton, Juno 24. The Ashburt-on County Racing Club's winter, meeting . was concluded to-day, in fine though cold weather. Ten bookmakers were licensed at £15 15s. each, and the totalisator investments for the day reached £3052, making a total for the meeting of £6183. " Results: — SECOND HACK HURDLES. One mile and a half.—White Cockade, lOst. 101b., 1; Fandango, lOst. 111b., 2; lieckwell, 9st., 3. Scratched: Outlauder and Cardiff. Won easily by a length • and a half. Three lengths separated second and third. Talm fell at tho last hurdle, and throw his rider, R. Swinburne, who sustained slight, concussion of the brain, and was removed to the hospital. ALLENTON HANDICAP. Six furlongs.—Fasnakyle, lOst. 21b., 1; Czar Kolohol, lOst.'l2lb.. 2; Silkwob, lOst. 71b., 3. All started. Tho winner led from the start, and though strongly challenged by Czar Kololio! in tho straight, -she got homo by a nose. Silkweb was two lengths away third. Time, lmiu. 17 l-Sscc.
