HUTT AND PETONE NEWS. (From Our Own Correspondent.)

At the Petone Polics Court yesterday, before -Messrs. W. Inglis and R. W. Shortt, J.P.'s, Robert Kerr'was convicted arid discharged on a charge of drunkenness; and on a chargo of grossly .improper behaviour was ordered to come up for sentence when called upon.

At the Hutt show grounds yesterday the School Rugby Matches were continued. Hutt A beat Petone East B,by 8 points to nil. Coffey, for the winners, scored two tries and converted one. Petouo West A defeated Hutt B by 8 points to nil. Bryant scored two tries for tho winners, of which olid was converted by Higginson.
