The Wellington Stock Exchange yesterday received tho following telegram:—"Tho chairman of directors of the Ross Goldfields, Ltd., reports:—Our first wash-up represents 1000 trucks of 8 cubic feet to one truck, indudiug cleanings from the drives. The returns are 60oz. ldwt. 12gr. It is possible, when we get well under way, to hoist about 500 trucks per day, and when we have opened up one or two of tho other adjoining workings with another shaft, which ought to be done within the next few months, our output of dirt should bo more than doubled, and in the Cassius and Morning Star workings wc should find still richer dirt."
Mokitfka, Juno 23. A good deal of dissatisfaction was expressed by tho shareholders of the Ross Goldticlds, Ltd., at the directors withholding the result of tho' wash-up at tho claim on Wednesday afternoon.
