In his Majesty's various replies ho has declared his earnest desiro to follow in [King Edward's footsteps, and to labour for the unity, poace, happiness, and prosperity of the Empire. Continuing, the King says he will strive to promote the moral interests of the Empire, and to maintain civil and religious liberty, which is tho basis of progress and spiritual vitality.
