CABINET NEWS.
A NEW ST. HELENS HOSPITAL Among tile business transacted at yesterday's sitting of Cabinet was the following:— ' Plans and specifications were ordered to be prepared for the erection of a new St. Helens Hospital in Christchurchj and for a new railway staton at Pataruru. . ' A tender was acoepted for the construotion of piers in connection with th» Mokihinni Bridge cylinders. Amounts authorised included .£SOOO far the Hutt now road and £5000 in connection with the duplication of the Hutt Tenders were accepted for the erection of a now post office at Levin and a netf police station for Dannevirke. _ Amoug various amounts authorised was £49,000 for railways construction, and £2600 for railways material.
