TO BORE FOR KOTUKU OIL.
■SYNDICATE'S INTENTIONS. I have the hest. authority (says our Groymouth correspondent) for stating that a powerful syndicate has acquired the right to hore for oil on the Kotuku field, which is but a short distance from Greymouth, and that Mr. David Ziman, accompanied by- a geological specialist, will soon arrive in the Dominion in order to test the ground thoroughly.
