* The following notices of motion will be considered at to-morrow evening's meeting of the Aliramar Borough Council :— By Councillor Aluir: That tho faro on tho Seatoun lino bo 13d., and Aliramar North 2d., with coupons for residents, 24 for 25., available over both lines. That a considerable reduction in the running of cars come- into operation at the beginning of July, as may be agreed by the council. i By Councillor Bowie: That it be a recommendation to the Water Supply and Drainage Committee to get a report on tho advisability and cost of producing our power at the proposed pumping station and also to ■consider tho merits of the Diesel or other engines as compared with suction gas as regards running without constant attention.
