Tavornor, AgentGeneral for Victoria, that the action of outside bodies tends to defeat tho vari. ous States' emigration policies. "Truth" states that emigration socie-, ties are thorns in tho flesh of tho Agents-General, and advocates that the Home Government should organise emigration through a Ministry of Labour. Tho Federal Government has shipped 6000 big coloured posters, with catchy descriptions of agricultural and other scenes in Australia, for-display in country towns in Great Britain.
