CONVICTS DRAW LOTS.

Three murderers, who had been courtmartialled and sentenced to death, were confined in Cherinkor goal. They drew lots as to who among them should strangle his companions and then commit suicide. The one thus chosen -killed his two companions, but when it came to his own turn ho shrank and failed. \
